Favicon's, why they look nice

Adding the little touches to your website can go a long way in the eyes of someone visiting it. These small tweaks may not even register, but they will in subtle ways. There are many means to reaching this end; however, today I would like to share how to make a favicon.

A Favicon is a 16 x 16 pixel image that represents a logo or design affiliated with your website. it will appear next to your url in a web browser and as an icon next to bookmark entries.

I have found this service by favicon.cc to be very useful in making one and using it right away. Just upload a square image and this web service will produce a perfectly constructed favicon in the right dimensions and in the iso format too!

Happy web developing!
