Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar Hairwash

I have struggled with dandruff on my scalp since childhood. I have tried many remedies, shampoos, over the counter tricks, and solutions since I discovered what exactly it was. The most common forms of dandruff are caused by a fungal infection of the scalp which flakes off skin as it grows beneath the first few layers. However, this treatment should work for most other causes such as allergies, psoriasis, and stress.

In the recent past I have started to experiment with using diluted baking soda and apple cider vinegar after hearing of it mentioned somewhere. Although I am no certified medical professional, nor chemist, I can tell you this works better than anything I have tried in the past 8 years! It cleared up my dandruff in 4 days and keeps it away for weeks without usage - amazing.

I would like to share these fruits by detailing the incredibly easy method to produce this mix.

You will need:

- Water
- Apple Cider Vinegar*
- Baking Soda Powder*
- Funnel
- x2 Containers

* The more organic the better as the more alive the better it works!

1) Mix 1:1 parts of water and baking soda in one container
2) Stir 1:1 parts apple cider vinegar and water in another.
3) Shake both vigorously
4) When washing hair in shower apply a few table spoons of the baking soda mix onto hand and massage into hair.
5) Let sit for a minute or so.
6) IMPORTANT! Wash out the baking soda thoroughly
7) Repeat dosage and lathering with apple cider vinegar
8) Rinse
9) El Fin

As you can see, it is incredibly simple and easy. Essentially the baking soda and vinegar are at opposite ends of the Ph spectrum and thus act to neutralize your hair and all that lives on it - including the fungus of dandruff The vinegar and abrasive baking soda absolve this easily and safely. On top of this the remedy is dirt cheap and has not environmental impact in the usage or creation thereof - how magical!
